Il complemento di qualità indica una caratteristica fisica e materiale di un oggetto, ma anche morale o caratteriale di una persona o un animale.
Il complemento di qualità risponde alle domande “con quale qualità?”, “con quale caratteristica?” ed è introdotto generalmente dalla preposizione di e, in casi più rari, da a, da oppure con.
